Implant research & documentation aid

Identify the device.
Prove the conditions.

Find the exact U.S. device record, define the planned MR environment, and build a documented path to final local authorization.

This is not an automatic clearance engine.Only the current manufacturer labeling, applied to the complete implant system and exact planned exam, can establish an MR Conditional pathway.

Start an implant research casePositive identification + planned scanner and exam

Model or UDI is preferred. A category alone—“pacemaker,” “stent,” “shunt”—cannot identify the tested configuration.

Planned MR environmentRequired before a scan pathway can be completed
Known case flagsThese change the pathway and escalation level
Try a search
Broad catalog, strict decision gate

Search cardiac devices, neurostimulators, stents and grafts, shunts, orthopedic implants, clips, ports, filters, meshes, coils, and many other device families. Legacy, custom, non-U.S., modified, or incompletely documented implants may not appear and require escalation.

03

Interpret the label correctly

GUDID identifies a submitted label category; it does not reproduce the full IFU.

MR Safe

The exact item’s labeling reports no known hazards in all MR environments. Positive identity still matters.

MR Conditional

Every condition must be met simultaneously. A single unmatched parameter means the labeled pathway is not established.

MR Unsafe

Known unacceptable risk in the MR environment. Stop the routine workflow and follow local escalation policy.

Unknown / no MR label

Assume unsafe until positive identification and written evidence establish a permitted pathway.
